Just outside of this location is one of the rare 1950s Garbage Gobblers!
Beautiful, peaceful place to eat delicious home-cooked meals. Decor features some very lovely antique furniture, and the staff seem like family - warm and friendly. Prices are reasonable. After my meal, I wandered around out back to see the old log buildings with neat "old stuff" inside. Definitely worth stopping in!
MoreArrived at 3:05pm today and there was a sign on the window saying they were closed at 3pm today after checking the websites and google for times. We were extremely disappointed.
MoreStaff are very friendly and service is quick
Beautiful grounds and buildings. Teahouse had excellent food
A hidden in plain sight gem at the side of the highway! Quaint, tastefully decorated and great food! (The pumpkin pie for dessert completed a great meal!) Learned a little history as a bonus. Will definitely become a regular stop when they reopen in the Spring.
MoreThe heritage feel is nice. Tea in a real tea pot.
Historical, plus very nice people running the place. When travelling on the trans Canada highway, this is a definite stop.
MoreWonderful historic place to visit
Always a pleasure to stop here on the way home.Staff are always pleasant and friendly and the food is always delicious!
MoreFriendly, family run Restaurant and Museum with excellent home cooked meals. We had the chicken pot pie, beef dip and blt. The salad was very fresh and the prices were affordable. Would definitely recommend this place to hungry travellers. They will leave feeling well fed and learn a little bit of history from the area at the same time.
MorePleasant atmosphere, home cooked meal in an historic building. Great folks willing to give informstion about the area.
MoreVery cute place, delicious cake and friendly owner. We was positively surprised! There are one of the oldest buildings in BC and a little museum and shop.
